1. Overview
Welcome to Dodhi, a digital ledger app developed by Fixare Studio for traditional milkmen to record and manage customer deliveries, payments, and balances.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in the Dodhi app.
2. Offline-First & Zero Data Collection
Dodhi is a fully offline application.
All records, customer details, milk deliveries, payments, and settings are stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database (via Android Room).
- We do not run servers, databases, or cloud sync systems.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your data or your customers' data.
- All financial figures and ledger data remain entirely on your device.
3. Backups & Google Auto Backup
To prevent data loss, Dodhi supports backup in two ways:
- Google Auto Backup: If enabled on your device, your database is silently backed up to your private Google Drive when charging, on Wi-Fi, and idle. This is managed by Google — we have zero access to it.
- Manual JSON Export: You can export your data as a backup file and share it however you like. No network connection is used.
4. Device Permissions
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Used for daily reminder notifications at 5 PM. Scheduled locally via WorkManager — no push server.
- Storage/File Access: Used to write and read backup files on your device.
5. Security
Your data lives on your device. We recommend setting a secure screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometrics) to protect your records from unauthorized access.
